Allianz Risk Barometer 2026: Cybersecurity remains the top risk for companies, but AI has the fastest rise, to 2nd place

● Artificial intelligence (AI) has the most explosive growth in the ranking, from 10th to 2nd place (32%), highlighting emerging risks for companies in almost all economic sectors.

● Geopolitical unrest and uncertainty cause political risks and violence to reach their highest position in history, 7th place.

● In Romania, legislative and regulatory changes are considered the biggest risk for companies, climbing from 3rd place. Risks generated by artificial intelligence and cyber incidents complete the local ranking.
