“There are 41 good news for patients throughout the world, these are the best news that patients has received in almost two decades and, indeed, a big step forward for the progress of medicine. We must take into consideration that discovering a single latest generation treatment takes around 10 years in average, and for a single drug out of the 41, the producing companies invested approximately 2.6 billion dollars, double compared to what was invested to research a molecule in the past decade.
These latest generation drugs treat affections which, until now, were a mistery for researchers”, declared Oana Igrisan, Communication Manager, ARPIM.
