Vodafone Romania appoints Marius Corcoman as Finance Director starting December

Marius Corcoman will replace Sibaji Biswasb, who will leave Vodafone at the end of October 2019, upon completion of his mandate

Marius Corcoman joins Vodafone Romania as Finance Director and member of the executive management team, reporting to Vodafone Romania’s CEO, Murielle Lorilloux, effective December 2019. Marius Corcoman will replace Sibaji Biswasb who decided to leave Vodafone at the end of October 2019, upon completion of his mandate.

Sibaji Biswasb joined Vodafone Romania’s team in 2017 and had a key role in establishing a strong financial reporting, partnered with commercial units to improve contribution margin in the business and while also working towards successful integration of the UPC Finance function into Vodafone.

Marius Corcoman has a wealth of experience both in Romania and in Switzerland, where he spent the last six years, as Chief Finance Officer and starting 2018 as CEO for KazMunayGas Trading (KMG/Rompetrol Group). Prior to this, he held various top management roles within Rompetrol Group in Romania, but also in other key players on the Romanian market such as Bunge or Unilever.

Marius Corcoman holds a degree in economy at University of Timisoara and has a qualification at Chartered Insitute for Management Accountants (CIMA), UK Professional.
