Thomas Schiefer is the new Country Manager of Holzindustrie Schweighofer in Romania

From this newly-created position, Thomas Schiefer, a professional with a vast experience in management, will ensure the business continuity of Holzindustrie Schweighofer SRL and will also help coordinate the five factories in Romania and the plant directors of Holzindustrie Schweighofer in Sebes, Radauti, Reci, Siret and Comanesti.

Dan Banacu, General Director of the factory in Comanesti, will remain the company's spokesman in Romania.

"I look forward to contributing to the continuation of the success of Holzindustrie Schweighofer's activities in Romania. We have 3,000 employees in three sawmills, a factory of solid wood glued panels and one of panels, and all our factories in Romania create value-added products. The company exports these products in approximately 70 countries around the world and this is something we can be proud of ", said Thomas Schiefer.
