Contemporary artist and cyborg activist, Neil Harbisson was born in the UK with acromatopsia, a rare condition that is the inability to distinguish colors. Neil spent his childhood and adolescence in Catalonia, Spain, in black and white only, until a cybernetics implanted an antenna in his skull, with which he perceived the colors through synesthesia. More precisely, each color is associated with sound waves not only in color, but also in saturation, intensity, etc.
