The IMF has improved the estimates of the Romanian economy advance in 2016 up to 4.2%

According to AGERPRES, the data released on Tuesday by the latest report of "World Economic Outlook" shows that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) revised upwards to 4.2% the estimates of the evolution of Romanian economy for this year, from 3.9% as estimated in October last year.

According to IMF forecasts, Ireland is the only country in Europe which will register this year an economic growth higher than Romania (5%), while the whole Europe will register an economic growth of 2% and the Emerging Europe region where it includes Romania will register a GDP advance of 3.5%.
