The EU wheat stocks will reach its maximum of the last eight years due to weaker exports

According to Agerpres, the EU stocks of unsold wheat will reach at the end of the 2016/2017 season, which ends in June 2017 to the highest value in the last eight years, given that exports will decrease for the second consecutive season, shows the estimates published on Tuesday on the European Commission website, informs Bloomberg.

In compliance with these estimates, the farmers of the 28 EU member states will harvest this year a quantity of 142,45 million tons of wheat, less than the production of 150,77 million tons of 2015, however it would be the third great crop in the past ten years.
