Teamnet Group has offered to the authorities, voluntarily, starting August 11, the unmanned airplane named Hirrus, an airplane based on the UAV technology (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), in order to help the search mission of the glider declared missing on August 6.
Hirrus system began its monitoring activity on August 12, with the involvment of a specialists team from the company. Yesterday, the unmanned airplane managed to cover over 33 square metres from Tigai area , Brasov county and has collected from the air 4,136 high precision pictures in order to achieve a map of the monitored area.
