Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova: Pascal Cassecuelle - New Head of Bayer's Crop Science division

As of February 1st, Pascal Cassecuelle has taken over as head of Bayer's Crop Science division from outgoing country head, Hernan Mora, who will continue his activity in Argentina.

Having started in sales in France, Pascal assumed various country and global leadership roles for the CropScience division of Bayer in Asia and Latin America. He also spent a number of years at Bayer’s Environmental Science division, overseeing emerging markets. He was recently leading a global transformation Project out of CropScience headquarters in Germany.

"This is a very exciting time to join the team,” Pascal says. "Over the past years Bayer has built an industry-leading business thanks to our exceptional and dedicated team and a successful range of technologies, such as Adengo, Falcon, Yunta or Nativo.

"My ambition is to build on that success, work with our team and our channel partners to make sure growers in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova have access to innovations in crop protection, seeds and digital technologies”.

"Modern agriculture has a key role to play in addressing the challenge of feeding a hungry planet but that will require collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders. As President of AIPROM, I look forward to working with all of them to make sure growers continue to sustainably produce the high quality, affordable food that we are so thankful for.”

Pascal Cassecuelle is 47 years old, a graduate of Paris Business School (ESCP-EAP) and will relocate to Bucharest with his wife Valerie.
