PwC report: Most companies face a deficit of expertise and digital skills in tax departments, being unprepared to manage the complexity of tax regulations

95% admit they have a shortage of employees with skills in specialized tax expertise, artificial intelligence and data analysis

Less than half (43%) of organizations consider themselves prepared to deal with new tax regulatory obligations, such as Pillar II, which 91% say will have an impact on their business, shows the Global Reframing Tax Survey 2025, conducted by PwC worldwide. Furthermore, 95% admit to having a shortage of employees with skills in the field of specialized tax expertise, artificial intelligence and data analysis.
