This technological mark follows the announcement of the two companies, from February of this year, according to which they will build an open radio access network (Open RAN), with RAN sharing in rural areas of Europe
Orange and Vodafone announce that they have successfully run a pilot project involving the first real experience of 4G calls, on a group of shared sites, based on Open RAN technology, integrated into the commercial network, in a rural area near Bucharest.
