An integrated team of lawyers and consultants from KPMG Legal – Toncescu și Asociații and KPMG Advisory has assisted SelfPay S.A. in the complex process of obtaining authorization as a payment institution from the National Bank of Romania. This project marks the third authorization of a payment institution under the PSD2 regime supported by the KPMG Legal and KPMG Advisory teams, confirming their expertise in complex projects that lie at the intersection of law, financial regulation, technology, and payment operational models.
