Jones Lang LaSalle has recently launched warehousefinder.ro, a website that addresses companies looking for industrial and logistics properties, available both in Romanian and English languages.
The portal currently promotes 50 major industrial parks as well as numerous buildings and warehouses suitable for production, logistics and distribution activities. It has national coverage, including major industrial hubs in Romania, such as Bucharest and Ilfov, Timisoara, Arad, Brasov, Cluj, Turda, Ploiesti and Constanta.
Cristina Pop, Head of Industrial Agency for Jones Lang LaSalledeclares: "We aim for this website to become the interface between companies searching for industrial and logistics premises and the owners of such spaces. Owners can promote for free their properties available for lease or sale, and for companies looking for locations, the search filters can include small areas starting from 500 sqm up to over 20.000 sqm, offering a wide range of options. Among the particularities of this website we can mention Google's interactive map for exploring surroundings, the possibility of comparing selected properties in terms of technical specifications, the availability of specialized research reports on the industrial and logistics market, including a detailed description of the regions considered as logistics hubs in the country.”
In addition, JLL proposes supporting consultancy services, related to renting and selling premises or for developing build-to-suit spaces, as well as the possibility for owners to promote their properties to the international database of corporate clients, the platform being available in all CEE countries where Jones Lang LaSalle operates. A unique feature is the guiding information on all the major players - the main developers that have a track record in the region, which are present on the local market.
"The success we recorded with launching this website in countries such as Poland and Czech Republic has justified its launch in Romania, to serve the existing demand. We hope to help increasing the industrial and logistics market’s transparency and to maximize the potential of this industry in Romania, which is the second largest country in CEE, a country with real chances for opening new factories and encouraging SMEs to develop local activities "said Cristina Pop.
