A deposit in RON with maturity at 12 months, placed at the beginning of 2013 to one of the top banks (by assets) should have brought, to maturity, an average yield of 5%.

Indices' performances are the result of the real economic recovery and monetary policies that have kept the money in the cheap zone, encouraging in 2013 risk-taking in the capital markets.
