Starting Monday, August 11, 2014, Electrica shares (EL) are included on the list of shares for which the price variation limit can be extended during a trading session, from +/- 15% to +/- 40% inclusively.
The insertion of Electrica shares on this list follows the inclusion of company in BET, the index covering the price movements of top ten companies listed on BVB, as of August 11.
The change of BET index composition determined also the inclusion of Electrica on the list of shares for which is permitted the short selling, as of August 11.
The Electrica shares will replace the SSIF Broker (BRK) shares in the two lists mentioned above. The inclusion of Electrica shares in BET index was decided at the end of July by the Index Committee.
On the list of shares for which the price variation limit can be extended are posted 16 shares: the shares included in BET and BET-FI indexes, along with those issued by Erste Group Bank (EBS).
