EC warns Romania and other 10 states that are facing high risks to the sustainability of public finances

The European Commission (EC) warned on Monday that 11 european countries, including Romania, are facing high risks to the sustainability of public finances as their debt levels will be elevated even over 10 years, informs Reuters.

According to Agerpres, in a report on fiscal sustainability, the European Commission argues that France, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Finland and the UK are facing high risks. The report does not relate to Greece and Cyprus which are still under financial assistance programs.
