David Olson Ulrich (born 1953) is a university professor, author, speaker, management coach, and management consultant. Ulrich is a professor of business at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and co-founder of The RBL Group. He has written numerous books covering topics in human resources and leadership. Ulrich is currently on the Board of Directors for Herman Miller, a Fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources,[5] and is on the Board of Trustees of Southern Virginia University. Dave Ulrich has been ranked the No.1 Management Educator & Guru by BusinessWeek, selected by Fast Company as one of the 10 most innovative and creative leaders and named the most influential person in HR by HR Magazine for three years. Who is HR Club
HR Club is the association of human resources professionals in Romania. Our mission is to encourage the human resources development by supporting and promoting the best practices in the field. We intend to achieve this goal through consistent pursuit of four strategic objectives:
To represent the interest of the HR community in changing the relevant legislative projects;
To develop a common network with other business associations in order to raise the profile of the HR profession;
To increase the representativeness of the association;
To ensure the professional development of our members through practice communities on HR topics.
HR Club currently has over 450 members representing about 300 multinational and Romanian companies with 250,000 employees coming from all industries and the services sector. HR Club's membership is open to all professionals interested in their professional development in people management field, as well as in the Romanian HR market.
HR Club’s activities are carried out by a young executive team, coordinated by a Board of Directors elected by the members of the association once every three years. Every year, we organize best practices seminars, informal meetings, national conferences, HR Club Next Generation summer school for the next generation of HR specialists, HR Club Excellence Awards Gala, meetings with HR services providers, coffee talks, master classes and working groups. Moreover, we are constantly developing projects in order to provide our members valuable resources, such us the HR Outlook survey and the HR Best Practices Manual. Last but not least, HR Club acts as the representative voice of the Romanian HR community, developing and supporting initiatives that may contribute to the development of this field.

Also, since 2007, HR Club is a member of the European Association for People Management (EAPM) and the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations (WFPMA).
