CEEQA 2014 Call for Entries

The eleventh edition of CEEQA gets under way on 21st November with the annual call for entries for awards in 24 categories for the best performing real estate projects, companies and industry professionals across 18 countries in Central Europe and Southeast Europe during 2013

The 2014 categories include awards for office buildings, shopping centres, hotels, leisure centres and residential schemes as well as developers, investors, banks, consultants, service providers and individuals who have made an outstanding impact on the sector during the previous calendar year.

 

They also include two new awards, a special Rising Star Award for market newcomers and privately owned small and medium-sized companies, in any segment, that have made a significant market impact during the past five years, as well as an award for Company of the Year decided by CEEQA Gala guests in a digital vote from winners of all nine Company of the Year categories. 

 

The short list for the main awards will be announced at the annual CEEQA@Mipim reception in Cannes on 11th March, together with the winners of four RealGreen awards for leadership in green building and CRE investment in the sector.

 

The winners of the main awards in 22 categories will be announced at the annual CEEQA Gala in Warsaw, the sector’s elite annual gathering attended by over 600 business leaders and senior professionals from more than 40 countries active in the CEE and SEE arena.

 

The 2014 programme will include two of CEEQA’s popular CEE Insight Summits focused on the Digital Revolution in Real Estate. Part 1 of the series, to be held in Cannes preceding the CEEQA@Mipim reception, will examine its impact on the retail and logistics market segments, while Part 2 in Warsaw preceding the CEEQA Gala will study its effects on the Office and BPO segments.

 

Highlights of the tenth edition of CEEQA included a total of five awards for Swedish developer and contractor Skanska including the award for Developer of the Year, and three awards for Jones Lang LaSalle including a special award for Company of the CEEQA Decade. CEEQA 2013 Gala entertainment featured performances legendary band Bananarama and Polish star Edyta Gorniak accompanied by leading composer Adam Sztaba, the awards ceremony was hosted for the seventh year running by Polish radio and television personality Monika Richardson.

In its eleventh year, CEEQA is firmly established the main industry awards and flagship annual event for commercial real estate investment in the New Europe market place. Organised each year by CEE Insight Forum in association with the Financial Times, the awards a free to enter and are judged by a panel of the most senior and experienced representatives of market leading companies active in the sector. The voting is supervised by globally respected business consultant Deloitte, in one of the most transparent and respected sector awards in Europe.

In this role CEEQA benefits from an extensive partnership platform of some of the most important industry bodies and business media and counts many of the most important companies regionally and globally among its strategic and supervisory partners.

 

Each year the Financial Times produces a tie-in market report insert to the daily newspaper focusing on the Emerging Europe sector, published on the day of the CEEQA Gala and distributed globally. In 2014 the Warsaw Business Journal, which publishes a respected real estate section Lokale Immobilia, will also publish a tie-in report to CEEQA.
