bpv Grigorescu Stefanica provided local legal advice to Raiffeisen Informatik, the Raiffeisen IT services company, in selling its full stake in COMPAREX AG to SoftwareONE, a global provider of software portfolio management and cloud services, KKR being one of the investors its principals. The transaction was signed in October 2018 and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2019.
The company resulting from this transaction becomes an important player in the software licensing segment, with offices in 88 countries and over 5,500 experts worldwide. The company will provide customer assistance in optimizing and managing a software acquisition portfolio worth about 10 billion euros.

The transaction involved close co-ordination with the other jurisdictions involved in this global due diligence process.
