A Chinese consortium will buy the Opera browser with 600 million dollars

According to AGERPRES, the data released on Monday by AFP shows that the Norwegian group Opera Software announced that a consortium of Chinese companies bought the Internet Browser Opera with 600 million dollars after the offer of 1.2 billion dollars for the entire Norwegian company has failed.

In a press release sent to the stock exchange in Oslo, Opera Software said that a consortium of Chinese companies led by the private equity fund Golden Brick Capital Management will take over the versions of desktop and mobile browser's Internet Opera, as well as a series of applications, but not the divisions of television, media and games of the Opera Software.
