Maintaining anonymity online is nowadays a difficult task to fulfill in the conditions in which the simple visit on a website presumes, almost certainly, a processing of personal data. Moreover, out of the need for cost efficiency and the desire to maximize profits, many website owners, whether presentation or e-commerce, resort to all sorts of methods that serve these purposes, but which, in the end, expose them to sanctioning risks for non-compliance from the GDPR point of view.
