Under what conditions can an employer refuse medical leave

Within the employment relationship, the employer is responsible for legally granting the medical leave and the social insurance indemnity for temporary incapacity for work to the employee who requested it. The employee's right to benefit from leave and indemnity is not absolute, the employer benefiting from the legal levers necessary both to identify a possible abuse and to sanction him accordingly.
