According to AGERPRES, the data released on Monday by the Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association (AMIA), show that the Romanian automotive market has registered an increase of 10.2% in the first half of 2016, the sales volume being of 61.151 units, and most acquisitions have been carried out by legal persons or 79 % of the total buyers.
At the level of national production, in the period January-June 2016 were produced 201.274 cars, 5.3% fewer than in the same period of 2015 but 15.7% more than in May this year. Of these, 178 017 units were produced by Dacia and 23 257 units by Ford.
