Romanians are becoming more confident in their financial knowledge, and 4 out of 10 are considering a loan for personal needs in the coming period

43.7% of Romanians believe that NFIs play an essential role in the economy and society

More and more Romanians are considering a personal loan in the coming period. According to the annual survey conducted by Kantar Poland for the International Personal Finance (IPF) group, of which Provident Financial Romania is a part, the intention to request such a loan increased from 33% in 2024 to 38% in 2025. At the same time, interest in online loans is also growing: 39% of respondents say they would resort to this option, especially for home renovation (42%) or covering unforeseen expenses (36%).
