Romania is the only country in the region where the wage incomes of IT workers are exempt from tax.
The biggest taxation rate, of 32%, is registered in Poland and is applied to IT workers with annual wages of over 20,500 euros, according to an analysis conducted by Accace, one of the main outsourcing and business consultancy companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
