The PSD 2 directive establishes much stricter security measures for making online payments

The PSD 2 directive transforms the way in which the online shopping will be paid. Transposed in the national legislation by Law no. 209/2019 regarding the payment services, which was recently promulgated, the directive establishes more stringent security measures for making online payments, these being known in the specialized jargon as "SCA" ("Strong Customer Authentication").
