NETOPIA mobilPay, the Romanian digital payments leader, brokered in 2015 more than 2.6 million online and mobile transactions, up 25% compared with the previous year. In addition, more than 45% of the total were made from mobile devices.
According to NETOPIA mobilPay data, the full value of the amounts digitally paid in 2015 increased by over 60% compared to the same period of the last year, totalling over EUR 135 million. Regarding the average amount paid per online transaction in 2015, it stood at RON 230.
