The legislative validation of the measures provided for by GEO 155/2024, a normative act that transposes the NIS (Network and Information Security) Directive 2 at the local level, took place through the publication of Law 124/2025 in the Official Gazette on July 7, 2025. This normative act entered into force on July 10, 2025 and marks a new important step in strengthening cybersecurity for information networks and systems in the national civil space.
