The current ceiling of 450,000 lei for the application of the reduced VAT rate of 5% for home sales to the population will increase to the level of 700,000 lei starting next year, according to the Emergency Ordinance no. 170 published on Saturday, December 18, in the Official Gazette (which includes several measures in the fiscal-budgetary field).
