The number of Facebook accounts attributed to Romanian users has now reached 8 million, up 11.11% compared to the first 6 months of 2014, when 7.2 million accounts were registered, shows the data quantified by Facebrands.ro, the monitoring service of Romanian pages created on the social network.
Out of the total number of users, 93.45% (7,475,900 people) have set their home town, and most Facebook users come from Bucharest, 1.64 million people (21.95% of the total), followed by Cluj-Napoca (280,040 people, 3.76%), Timisoara and Iasi (280,000 people, 3.75%, each), informs Agerpres.
