New contributions to the Environment Fund introduced since January 1, 2014 and changes to existing contributions, have the role to stimulate waste prevention and recycling. Daniela Neagoe, Senior Consultant at Deloitte Romania draws attention to three of the new taxes: the tax related to oil placed on the market, the packaging fee and the fee for waste disposal in landfills.
