Monitorul Oficial al Romaniei No 665 / 30.10.2013 has published Law No. 276 / 24.10.2013 ratifying the Convention between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and Capital Gains.

The provisions of the convention enter into force starting from the 1st of January 2014.
