Since September 15, the European Commission has not extended restrictions on grain imports to Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia or Hungary. In this context, a national coordination and reaction mechanism was established in order to guarantee the quality and quantity of agricultural products imported from Ukraine.
This mechanism is regulated by Emergency Ordinance nr. 84 of 2023, published in the Official Gazette of October 13, which stipulates the conditions that economic agents must comply with when importing grain from Ukraine.
