In the first 6 months of 2017, the eco segment has tripled in Romania. The result is largely due to sales of Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles, which delivered 863 units delivered and a market share of 88%.

The market for hybrid cars (hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric hybrids) grew in the first six months of the year to 977 units, from approximately 310 units last year, according to the APIA report, which demonstrates a growing preference for alternative propulsion.
