Mihaela has a long history with ING, joining ING Romania shortly after setting up the company 25 years ago.

With a large multi-disciplinary banking experience, both on the Romanian market and abroad, she currently holds the position of Head of Wholesale Banking and Deputy General Manager. Thus, we become a dynamic universal bank, successfully addressing all customer segments. Our 25-year history is a clear sign of the ING Group's long-term commitment in Romania and we are committed to supporting the development of the Romanian business environment through its services, business conduct and innovative spirit. Therefore, it honors me even more this appointment and the confidence that ING has in the professionalism and maturity of our local team. " Mihaela Bitu, ING Bank Romania.

ING celebrates 25 years of activity on the Romanian market. Currently, it ranks sixth in the top of local banks, with a market share of just over 10% and organic growth during this time.

The dynamics of the past few years have been more pronounced, given the focus on digital trends and the creation of a differentiating experience for its clients. The number of individual active ING clients reached 1.32 million, with a positive trend still prefigured.
