EY study: Generation Z already has clear expectations regarding their future workplace

Teenagers who are now stepping into the job market or starting college already have clear expectations regarding their professional path and the environment in which they want to work.

As part of the Global Generations 3.0 study, EY interviewed over 3,200 young people, between 16 and 18 years old, also known as Generation Z, about the factors which influence their trust in their future employers and in taking emplyment decisions in the future. Two thirds of them (66%) place the highest emphasis on equity regarding the wages, promotion possibilities and learning opportunities at their future workplace, shows the EY research.
