In Romania, the team that won the national stage, held at Microsoft Romania on 27 April, is called deTression and the team members are Vlad Niculescu, Alexandra Ciobica and Andrei Isac, students of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. The three were mentored by Daniel Rosner, lecturer at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, the Computer Department of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the InnovationLabs program manager, who also mentored the ENTy team, the world champion of the 2016 edition of the global competition.
