Reff & Associates, member of Deloitte Legal, received the award for Real Estate team of the year 2012 in Romania during the 3rd edition of Avocatnet.ro Awards Gala, marking its 6th Real Estate related award. An independent jury granted 17 distinctions to 15 legal and tax advisory competitors from the Romanian business community, along with three special prizes.

Avocatnet.ro Awards Gala gathered over 150 participants and brought together some of the top law firms in Romania.

Reff & Associates assisted New Europe Property Investments plc with its most recent transactions in Romania, including the acquisition of the class A office building Lakeview from AIG/Lincoln Lakeview (the largest property M&A in Romania in the first quarter of 2013 and ranked by Ziarul Financiar as a top transaction in its rankings issued in March 2013), the acquisition of a 70% stake in the development of the Mega Mall shopping centre in Bucharest (together with the Austrian group Real4You), the acquisition from Bel Rom of the Severin Shopping Center in Drobeta Turnu Severin as well as a commercial centre in Deva. In addition, the team assisted New Europe Property Investments plc in the buyout of the co-investor in the development of the Vulcan site in Bucharest and has been involved in several other transactions which are still in progress.
The portfolio of the real estate practice includes other clients such as IKEA Romania, H&M, Hercesa, Moritz Group, Decathlon, First Property, AEW Europe.
