Raiffeisen Bank has two new members in the Board of Directors

Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank nominated Mircea Busuioceanu as Chief Risk Officer and Bogdan Popa as Chief Financial Officer as members of the Executive Board of the bank.

Thus, the number of members of the Executive Board of Raiffeisen Bank reaches seven. The two new members work within at Raiffeisen Bank  since 2002.


'The new governance structure is appropriate to challenges we face and we are very pleased that two new members of the Executive come from Raiffeisen management school. They are our colleagues for more than 10 years, during which they demonstrated their value and professionalism, "said Steven van Groningen, President and CEO of Raiffeisen Bank.


The nomination will become effective after it will obtain the authorization of the National Bank of Romania.


Currently, the Board of Directors of  Raiffeisen Bank  has five members: Steven van Groningen, President & CEO, James Stewart, Vice President Treasury and Capital Markets Division, Cristian Sporis, Corporations Division Vice President, Vladimir Kalinov, Vice President Retail Division and Carl Rossey, Vice President Operations and IT.
