"The wine sector was slower in the adoption of online commerce, but there has been a significant increase - according to studies, online wine trade has accounted for 4% of total global sales. Considering that we only sell wines from our top ranges, we can not talk about the share of online in total business, but if we relate to sales corresponding to the respective ranges, we expect online to reach a 5- 6% in the first year and will grow to 10-15% later" said Maria Necsulescu, Deputy General Manager of Jidvei.
