The increase comes on the background of operational volume expansion and of logistical investments in new technologies.
GeoPost, subsidiary of La Poste, delivered last year 720 million packages, 5.9% more than in 2011, consolidating its position as the second largest player in the market of courier services in Europe, after Deutsche Post DHL. This volume is, in part, the business segment (B2C - Worldwide e-commerce and e-tailer).
