The auto industry, one of the pillars of the Romanian economy and one of the largest employers in the local economy, "brakes" in the face of new challenges. On the one hand, it feels the pessimistic wave from Germany, the largest European economic power based on car production, and on the other hand it needs investments to adapt to the demands imposed by the new technologies. In these circumstances, the natural question is asked whether Romania should or could do more for this industry.
