Cloud computing is an infrastructure with a broad-based IT systems that include servers and other equipment situated in many countries and interconnected in order to provide multiple information and IT services.

 

Arcadie Parfenie, Manager in the Tax Department, Ernst & Young, examines the fiscal implications of these trends:

 

"An important aspect of cloud services is the way the generated revenues are being taxed, which must take into account several aspects: the place where the company's employees operate, where the information is made ??available and the location of the company's assets. Cloud services are provided in many countries, which means that both the cloud service provider (FSC) and the user has to obey the tax regulation in the countries where the cloud network transmit information to users."
