- Control and supervision of periodical vehicle inspections stations; - Motor vehicle inspections; - Statistical data processing concerning the technical inspection of the vehicle national park; - Elaboration of training and certification programmes for the stuff accredited to perform periodical vehicle inspections; - Approval by type for domestic or imported road vehicles, manufactured or traded in more then 10pcs./year; - Performing of verifications and tests for motor vehicles, by request, according to ECE-ONU Regulations or EU Directives; - Performing of verifications and tests as for international approval of motor vehicles parts and sub-assemblies; granting of international approval numbers; - Individual certification for road vehicles; - Issuing of motor vehicle identity card; - Road vehicles authentication; - ADR certifications; - Buses classification by comfort categories (+reclassification); - Issuing of customs finding notices; - Issuing of technical consulting notices; - Certification of vehicle authenticity; - Certification of quality systems; - Translation and publishing of international regulations in motor vehicles field (ECE - ONU Regulations and EU Directives); - Research on traffic safety field and environment protection; - RAR approves and certifies road vehicles, parts, spare parts, materials for work on motor vehicles, fuels, installations for LPG supplying; - Publisher of monthly magazine "Auto Test".
