A) Brief history: The present company has been working since 1960, when it was set up under the name of CANNED MILK FACTORY - Campulung Moldovenesc. On february 1st, 1991, began its activity the Commercial Company "RARAUL" S.A. from Campulung Moldovenesc, according to Law no. 15/1990. In 1994, S.C. "RARAUL" S.A. became a joint-stock company, with entirely private domestic capital. b) Fields of activity: The main activity of the company is raw milk collection, industrialization and storage, trading of milk and milk products. The main product is powdered milk (70% of the overall output), others being: cheeses, butter, fresh milk and other fresh milk products. The products are sold on domestic markets as well as on international markets. S.C. "RARAUL" S.A. is agreed for exportation in E.U. and other countries, having L 81 sign. c) Number of employees: In 2001, the company's staff amounted to 442 employees, from which 167 working in industry, 222 working in raw milk collection and 53 persons working in transport field.
