AGRANA Romania S.A. resulted as the merger (March 2005) of Zaharul Romanesc S.A. Buzau, Danubiana Roman S.A. and AGRANA Holding and Trading S.R.L. Bucharest. The company is running three sugar production units located in Tandarei (Ialomita County), Buzau (Buzau County) and Roman (Neamt County) and it is the leader of sugar market in Romania. The products, addressed to all customer segments, from industrial ones to small retailers and HORECA, includes crystal white sugar, liquid sugar and a large assortment of complex sugar (sugar with special granulation or ICUMSA grades, tailor made products for industry, brown sugar, jelly sugar, icy sugar and so forth). The company activity is focused to meet the customers needs in providing high quality products, thus becoming a reliable business partner.
