The percentage of online payments out of total payments recorded the highest increase in the past year, reaching 12-14%.

The e-commerce market is steadily developing, with Romania registering the highest growth at European level. "For this year, PayU estimates show that the entire e-commerce market will amount to 2.7 billion euros, and the 3 billion threshold will be exceeded in 2019", says Marius Costin, Country Manager, PayU Romania.
