The M&A market in Romania had a very good 2021 year, exceeding both the volume and the value of the figures reported in the previous year.

The global mergers and acquisitions market ended 2021 with record increases compared to the previous year, with an increase of 57% in the cumulative value of transactions and 24% in number, exceeding $ 5.1 trillion and 62,000 transactions, according to PwC Global M&A Industry Trends 2022 report.
