EU fund absorption rate through ORP attains 21 pct, in Nov

The EU fund absorption rate through the Operational Regional Programme (ORP) attained 21 percent, and the contracting degree amounted to 98 percent,on this Nov 1, Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT) State Secretary Marcel Bolos told conference on ORP implementation.

In terms of fund absorption through ORP, this is the programme having the highest absorption rate, namely 21.1 percent, i.e. 786 million euros. the average absorption degree for Romania posing for 9.67 percent, The contracting level' for ORP stood at 98 percent,' Bolos added.

Payments within the Operational Regional Programme (ORP) through the European Regional Development F amounts to 1.02 billilon euros, on Oct 1, 2012 posing for 28 percent of the total amount allocated, MDRT data informed on Tuesday. Over 970 projects of the Operational Regional Programme (ORP) were completed through the European Regional Development Fund till Oct 1, 2012, the allotted funds totalling 460 million euros. Over 3,200 projects were agreed, the European Regional Development Fund granting 3.3 billion euros.
