Presentation
Our goal is to set the foundations for sustainable ANGUS-quality beef production in Romania. Our system covers all stages of production: it starts with organic pasture, ranges to breeding and fattening of Angus cattle up to the processing of the meat. Karpaten Meat manages three farms near Sibiu, in Transylvania. We acquired and modernized former dairy farms in Nocrich and Marpod villages. 1. Farm Agrinoc: Quarantine Station Our quarantine farm is authorized in accordance with EU standards. In this isolated station are tested and monitored for 30 days all imported cattle or the ones intended for export. 2. BioPark Farm: cattle breeding farm This farm is the mother cow husbandry. Here we keep the breeding cattle with calves. 3. Marpod Farm: trade and fattening In Marpod is the newest Karpaten Meat farm. It is currently in the process of expansion and modernization and will house cattle for fattening and trade.
